Civil engineering — bridge & retaining-wall strain monitoring

Vibrating-wire and MEMS accelerometer arrays mounted on structural members. Edge devices buffer 100 Hz windows, push event-triggered packets over LTE-M, and back-fill on cellular failover. Inspectors get strain-drift alerts before the next scheduled survey.
